C6V unlocked or not? - GSM-Forum

I've tried to unlock my C6V using X65_Easy_Unlocker. How can i find out if it has been unlocked succesfully? If it has been unlocked succesfully, will i be able to update it with C65 firmware or this is another subject? I'm a little bit confused so please someone help and give me some pieces of information. In a few words, how can i transform

my C6V to C65? ThanX in advance

Turn off your mobile. Remove your SIM Card. Turn on your mobile without SIM Card. Type in *#0606#. Press the left soft-key once. If your phone has no SIM-Lock you should see 5x Unbarred.
You cannot flash a normal c65 firmware to a c6v device and vice versa.
The bootcore is different. You can flash a full-flash from a "normal" c65 into your phone, if your bootcore is patched. But be sure, you know, what you do. You should save battery, power-ramp and other Eeprom values from your phone, so that you can write them back into your modified phone.
