i guess you can not do that with winswup (can not degrade phones version)
i am not sure if you can use this way if you have martech.
degrade with martech tool (its a box for siemens mobile phones), but you have to backup everything befor trying anything.

Winswup v7 should downgrade, I don't see any problem I've done this many times with many CF62s(it just says that there's newer soft version on the phone).
Use original cable.

I have tested this and it is not working. V7 is not accepted by new versions like 83/84/85.

first you must have a v7 bootcore then make a backup of everything on your phone, put v7 bootcore in your phone and run winswup

To change the bootcore you should need TP though, right?

If you need TP, why bother downgrading and running Java?

Hey I got another problem
I tried to upgrade my CF62 to v.12 with Winswup, and it says that can't ping the fone....?
What to do?
Tried with fone switched on/off, with pre-check and not.
