help, error with siemens eeprom tool by skylord - GSM-Forum

Hello all.

when I run the siemens eeprom tool 3.15 by skylord, press "init", it scanning, then I press the red key, it shows me ''run-time error 9""subscript out of range'', what's wrong? my computer is with windows 2000

I tried to use the soft in my M65 v43 lg1 using DCA-510 (windows 2000 SP4 + full windows patched) with this setting:
Mobile inisialization
Phone: =x65
Port: COM3
press "init", it scanning, then I press the red key. in phone shows "Service mode ON"
and it recognized the phone information.

or u can try to check the PreCheck box, do it again and see what happen.

I also use USB DCA-510, com1, then what windows full patched?

Strange... for DCA-510, I think could not use COM1 or COM2, coz it is basic onboard COM port.
After I install the cable driver, My DCA-510 automatically recognized at COM3 (I have a friend with the same cable, he got COM4).
So, make sure u have the COM port setting, in right position.

* Windows full patch means, I have all windows patch that microsoft launch in their website to make my PC system up to date.

I have checked with our IT department, our system also is windows 2000 SP4, as my com3 is set as modom, com4 is set as virtual IR port, so I set it as com1 or com2 only.

Ok, you can try to set it as COM5 or above, through System properties -> Device Manager. (Don't use COM1 or COM2)

If problem still exist...uhmm I don't know what to say.
