How to unlock C61 AT&T - GSM-Forum

Hi

Does anyone have a idea how to unlock Siemens C61 with AT&T
I used FREIA
It gives message "COMM_SendBoot : boot file is not accepted"

Any help.

Yes i did with all three Boot types

Cut same test point as c60. Set freia9 for Siemens c60, without boot after it, then under configuration select bootloader bug. WORKING 100% for me!!

Try cutting the testpoint as said by Evan!
It worked for me in c60 4pcs

c60 is not the same as c61

c60 is 900/1800/1900 c61 is 850/1900 that is the ONLY difference.

It is working on c61- CUT THE TRACK and give it a try!

Hi, i have cutted the same track as in c60 testpoint. I used freia 15 with the three different boots, but i had no success unlocking the c61. I have done lots of c60's using the same procedure and everything was allright, i had no problems at all. Do you think i should use another version of freia?. Is there another test point for c61?

I have always used the same TP as with C60 and been 100% successful. Maybe you need to cut deeper.... as I remember from doing this in the past, I had to make several passes, deeper and deeper, until it was bypassed.

I have never tried Java Patch on these... have you?

does the phone have intel chips or amd infineon??? if thats tha case you need martech

I have been trying to unlock c61 from cingular usa but no luck . I did test point before and able to unlock but his one no, friea keep saying boot file not accepted . any body can help me ? please

I have unlocked this phone with the regular c60 test point 100%. If that does not work, try the java patch. I have not tested it on c61 but if the version is not too high it should work.
