Lg 03 ->Lg 04

Dear friends,
how can I flash only lang.pack. I currently have 2 SL75 one with lang.pack03 and another lang.pack04.

How can I read lang 04 from first one and write it to second one, just language, because I can't found original firmware SL75_470400.

So is it possible with Papua or other tool to read/write only lang.pack from one to other mobile phone but don't want to have "Wrong software" or different calculation of CRC

Thanks in advance
Br

...is possible only if you have the same firmware version in your phones!
Use Papuautils -> Convert and click to " Create Base WinSwup32 + XBZ(I)" and create WinSwup file with LG4 (exe file). After make the normal firmware upgrade/downgrade on the phones with LG03. In atachemment you have the suplimentary file to make your WinSwup. To know how to make it, search on this forum.

Dear dagos

thanks a lot for help, but I didn't understand what I need to do.

Yes, I have 2 same SL75 only different one is 470400 and secomd one 470300. I would like to have 470400 on both of them

Please could you write me step by step

1. I have Papua 1.11b_190, go to "convert"-> " Create Base WinSwup32 + XBZ(I)", but I'don't have Winswup with LG04. When I click on tab, Papaua open box with searching of *.xbi/xbz file?
Which file I need to choose? and what after?
For what I need your SWP.rar to use?

Thanks a lot in advance
Br,
Erogsm

Hi,
I explain to you the easy way to make the fullflash file (.bin):
First, you need to know SKEY and BKEY from your "470400" phone.
USE DATA CABLE
- with SiMoCo (or the other Phone Manager)
..and never disconect the cable!
- Copy Viper or bsReader(Viper.jar or bsReader.jar to phone in: "Data\Java\jam\Applications"
- start aplication (into phone) -» Data\Applications-»Viper (or bsReader)
- Confirm local conexion 'By Session'.
- Confirm acess aplication java to data cable.
-Wait few seconds (or minutes).
- wait for a 'beep' and the IMEI/ESN/HASH should in phone.
-dont touch nothing and run x65flasher-1072 (or the other X65 flasher version).
-click connect, so the 'keys' calculate starts. wait the calculate.
- start x65PapuaUtils and click button 'PX65V4' - program starts receiving imei/esn/hash from java aplication.
- Click "Calculate Skey and Bkey' and wait skey e a bkey to be calculated
- turn off the phone,
USE UNLOCK CABLE
-open x65flasher.exe
- search on the third case IMEI from your phone and select.
-click on "connect"
-click on "Read flash" and save your fullflash file
-after finished, close x65flasher and open papuautils...
-go to "Convert" and click on "Conversion FullFlash in XBI or UserSwup" button.
-select your saved file (with x65flasher).
-select your preferences (except "BCORE" - need to be UNCECKED !!!)
-click on "Save UserSwup" and save your .exe file
USE DATA CABLE
-open your saved .exe file and start the Firmware/Language pack upgrade.
That is...
BTW: exist the other procedure; using testpoint (easy) but you needed to open your phone....

dagos

Hello dagos,
when I tried to flash, I got this message:
Cant connect to Mobile with BootstrapLoader on Com 1

I think that problem is with bootstraploader because version is V4.15 and maybe this model is not supported. When I opened original flasher on the top is written V4.18. What I did:
1. Save full *bin file ( with X65 flasher), as you recommended
2. convert it with last Papua to *.xbi (as you wrote)
3. make WINSWUP.exe file (app. 26Mb it's OK) (as you wrote)
4. When I started this SL75_470400.exe on box panel winswup is written
V4.15, so I checked original version which I have SL75_470300 and on the WinSwup is written 4.18

I think that is a problem, what you think and where can I found new version of bootstreploader?

Thanks in advance
Erogsm

...hmmm
This error not is from the WinSwup version.
Your phone not comunicate with PC.
Try the following two methodes:
1. Open your phone -> Connect datacable-> Open Swup executable -> Select port -> Select baudrate (115200 for serial cable) -> Start. Your phone will be power off automatically and upgrade is started (Connect phone).
2. Power off your phone-> Connect unlock cable -> Open Swup executable -> Check "Skip" in "PreCheck" row -> Start and quicly push short the phone red button.

Hi dagos, yes it is communicated with Papuas or any swup exe file.
I have 2 original WINSWUP files first is SL75_470300.xbz.exe and second is SL75-390400.exe.
When I start both od them on the top of SWUP is written V4.18, but when I made my bin file with papuas and your SWPXV4.15 I got exe file, but when I started it opened SWUP V4.15.

So I stil think that problem exist on older SWUPexe file, because

for all of the below 2 points what you wrote I got always the same message:
Cant connect to Mobile with BootstrapLoader on Com 1

Also on the right side of WINSWUP in the text SVN: instead of version 47 ( when I start 47 or 39 it always stated to the right version, but when I start my bin->xbi->exe I got 92 ?????
Also when I try to upgrade the same version as it is current like SL75_470300xbz.exe with new bootstrep 4.18, it upgrade my phone as well :-))
So it is no problem with communication I am 100% sure

...OK,
download from http://rapidshare.com/files/91580482/winswup.418.rar
Unrar, start WinSwup and open your saved .xbi file (from papua)
Now you have two possibility:
First:
1. Turn OFF the handset and connect it with computer using appropriate cable.
2. Run the Winswup 4.18 application, configure the ComPort and baudrate of the cable where the handset is connected. Keep the 'Force ComPort' unchecked.
3. Open the selected XFS file (change the Files of type into FFS-Content *.XFS).
4. Change the update-concept to Force BSL, unsecured mode (Option\Update-concept).
5. Skip the pre-check and post-check.
6. Press the 'Start' button.
7. Wait until the process is finished before shutdown the winswup application.

Second:
1. Set the update-concept to secure mode in the option menu of winswup.
2. Phone need to be turned ON
3. During pre-check, winswup will shutdown your phone and replacing old firmware
4. Wait unill the process is finished before shutdown the winswup application.

doesn't work,

you have right it is not problem with winswup, but I don't know where is a problem

first possibility I unchecked and power on phone, got message
"could not switch on mobile"
second possibility I checked skip button and got
" nothing received after BOT - Block 1"

How is it possible that I don't have a problem with original exe files?, but with those conversation to xbi ????

Thanks still one more because you are really traying to help me :-)

ups, ups, ups, I just now check to upload again firmware 47_0300 ( with russian, what I currently have) and same problem exist, so something is wrong with phone, or maybe cable, I must to check and will inform you

No no , everything is OK, original software works as well, problem was because WINSWUP 4.18 is started and communication port was blocked, noe I close your winswup and run again original SL75_470300.xbz.exe and now must to wait until upgrade.

So conclusion, with original I don't have a problem, but with my bin and xbi and your WINSWUP 4.18 it coudn't start upgrade procedure.

Is it ggod that I just check "software" and "lg pack" when I created xbi or exe, or I need to checked also EEFUL, EELITE and rest of FSS, what you think?
