Simple CF62T Question..

I've a CF62T locked to the T-Mobile USA network. In order to remove the T-Mobile branding I was told to flash a different FW version to it, however the update was "denied" by the phone using WINSWUP. If I get an unlock code and unlock my phone will I be able to remove the branding then with WINSWUP?

I'd rather not mess with testpoints.

Only testpoint, then fullflash downgrade with freia (for example),then correct swup with your lang. And ffs if you wish
It's only way to unbranding.

I've succesfully cut the testpoint, but when I tried downgrading with WINSWUP it said no bootcore present.

I presume I should get a CF62 fullflash, flash it to the phone and then downgrade the SW (unlocking then with sw11)? Would I be able to use V_KLay for this or should Freia be used?

I just cut the TP, used SST with the unlock option - and it accepted my O2 Ireland sim with no problems. The left soft key was set to T-Zones only with my T-Mobile sim but with my O2 one I can set it to anything I want.

Thanks for the help
