That's no problem. Look in your housing.. there's a black piece of plastic in it that holds the Siemens Battery and the contact board (the piece of platine). I removed that plastic and break it in the upper 1/3. Then I used some tape to fix it and pressed the platine back to the rest (the 1/3 part) of this piece.... Difficult to explain but I hope you understand.

I disassembled both batteries to pieces. Nokia battery has an aluminium housing inside and cannot be disassembled further. Sorry, it's still too thick...

I can see man, but by me there is no space.When I put BL5C in sl 45 battery housing, i can't attach battery to work! I've seen you made it, but I can't... It must be that my battery cover is too small...

you can use BL-4C instead, it's more thin.

@sl45vietnam,
I used 750mAh batt (for nokia 8210) for my sl45. Do i have to use sensor tool to make it work better? I tried useing sensor tool 1.3, loaded 650mAh blk, but when i clicked WRITE PHONE, it says ERROR cannot undo BLOCK 67. Whats wrong?
Also, when im charging, the battery % indicator reaches 198% but the charging time is about 1hour and a half, which is the same length of time as my old battery fully charges.

Error at BLOCK 67 is the block of battery, it make phone cannot turn on. You have to write your eeprom or full flash backup, or you can only write block ID 67 (you can use Smelter to extract this block and write it to phone).
After use change values by SSL maybe the % indicator is not exactly.
Use SST to optimize battery is so difficult, now I still don't know how to do it. I have to grape (fumble).

Thanks 2 Red Fox
I use Nokia BR-5C battery. If no play MP3 and turn off the phone at night discharging time about 4 days (instead of 2 days with standard 650mAh battery).
