Besides playing *.mp3 files, the SL45 MP3 player can also play *.wmv files. You can just rename *.wmv files to *.mp3 files.
Or, apply following patch to play *.wmv files in the directory of a:/wmv/ .

36a273:6d703300 776d7600
36a26d:6d703300 776d7600
368e6a:6d703300 776d7600
32cc18:6d703300 776d7600
32cbd8:4d503300 574d5600
Then to play normal mp3 files, you have to rename *.mp3 files to *.wmv files.

By the way, *.mp3 files can be renamed to any type of filenames, and the SL45 MP3 player can still play them. Just put them in a playlist file (*.mpl). For example, a playlist file, a.mpl, can have following files:
1.dvd
2
3.doc.txt

Of course, there is only audio from .wmv file, no video.

Not works for me. I test it on a several wmv files and unfortunatly no success. No sound, but time length of wmv file is correct.

what is the thing here? that sl45 can open, but not play these files? I tried with a bunch of formats and it opens almost all of them, displays the correct length, but still no sound is produced...
