Any one tried to convert ME45(3618) to ME45i?

Yes, I did it yesterday and for the time being everything is ok

Hi there! thanks for the reply but i think you're talking about ME45 international version... So far i knew there's two Me45's.
1st is 3618 (Asian version of ME45) 2nd is ME45 international version...

Btw, i already tried the steps/instructions in the link you gave me but unfortunately I can't make my Me45 (3618) to ME45i.

i tried to upgrade my 3618 using the winswup and 29000x05000 method.. the firmware writes correctly and the machine works until it establishes connection wif my provider... den it lets out a low beep and switches off... if my sim card is out and i use it in the demo mode... everything works.. including racer ace.. i am thinking that it could be some small changes needed to be done to the patch so as to allow 3618 to be upgraded to a ME45i

if anyone is interested to create a patch i do have a dump of the 3618 full firmware

thats good news.. can you exactly tell us where we can dowload the file/softwares needing to (at least have my 3618 work in demo mode) upgrade 3618 firmware into Me45i (demo mode..)

And please... please... the procedures on how to do it?
