Anyone tried GFX FavMenue2 by mic.kan and had problems like me?

Hi there. I tried to install the GFX Patches
from http://sl45.mindsolutions.org/downlo...g=15&showcat=5
FavMenue2 by mic.kan.vkp or
FavMenue1 by mic.kan.vkp
but after installing my cellphone only crashes everytime I push a button.
The design is great but how do I avoid this error ?

maybe there's a problem with codes in there. try to compare them with another correct GFXmenu patch with WinHex.

probably during installation you've got warning but ignored it. try to undo that patch.

I got a warning and I did ignore it. By now I restored my phone with an old fubu. What exactly should I compare?

I should add that I never got to see the GFX menu since it always crashes before I can even get in the Menu....

I think you forgot changing pictures in your fullflash with those included in patch. you must use ffmod and replace the pix number 112-123 with patch images. then save it and upload it to your phone.

OK I did not do that. But anyways. If the vkp file would work fine I would see the images that are in flash at nr. 112-123 but I do not see them.
So I figure there must be something wrong with the vkp file ....

vkp file doesn't change images at all unless images have been converted into hexadecimal codes and incorporated into vkp.
most vkps around have not image codes in themselves.then you have two choices:
1- try to insert images manually in your fullflash by FFMOD
2- or convert images into hexadecimal codes and insert them in vkp file and run it.

I have a good comment for you: try to download GFXmenumaker v 0.4.1 from here then Copy 12 bmp file in to root directory of program. Bmps name must be: 01.bmp 02.bmp 03.bmp ........... 12.bmp. then run the program. now first invert and make wbmp files. then assign your menu orders from 1-12 which is similar to bmp orders. then make patch. now you can safely run this patch 'cause the pictures now have been converted into hex codes and inserted into vkp file
have fun friend
