Changing file extension in fw 56


after i upgraded to fw 56 i found it's really pretty and java is wonderful,,but i lost a very nice feature to change file extension,,just by renaming it to (file.xxx) i really want this back,,,,,anybody has any idea?
is there any patch for that?

What happens if you change the file name and extention? like for example a jpg file and i change the file extention to .bmp, will it be considered as bmp file already?

When I upgraded to Siemens Sl45i v56 i've lost the delete command while viewing records. Now I have only delete all, not delete

file name and extention

I changed a extension of file--> sms.smo to sms.smi, That should do it. But intead of that it made sms.smo.smi

It happend in sms archive.

works 100%. The "smo.smi" thing happend because the cardexplorer let not change you the file extension you just renamed the prefix - not the suffix
