Is there any patch that removes the second line of the network name?

Well use the patch: "Operator Logo Anywhere" - This "might" help

Moving & changing the font of the Operator name string is easy

18E692: 09 XX; y-pos of operator name string (normal mode)
18E672: 09 XX; y-pos of operator name string (netsearch mode)
18E694: 03 XX ; Font style (normal mode)
18E674: 03 XX ; Font style (netsearch mode)
