GSM-Forum - Broken Side Keys SL45

When I bought my second sl45 from an auction I didn't notice the side keys were broken...
So I'm opening this post to suggest some arrangements for this issue while I can see other people have the same problem

How to start mp3 player from idle mode? (i.e. Emulation of PLAY SIDE KEY )
----------------------------------------------------

S O L U T I O N :

Apply this patch and assign mp3 to a NUMBER KEY shortcut (e.g '8').
Then, long press '8' to instantly start playing mp3s ...

You can apply ONE of these patches and always record a call ;-)

- Automatic recording for incoming & outgoing voice calls
- RAC v3.x (Record all Calls)

Apply this:

Then you will have :

;Default buttons configuration:
;RIGHT/LEFT - next/prev track
;UP/DOWN - volume up/down
;1/4 - treble up/down, 3/6 - bass up/down
;PLAY - play function (like in winamp, restart and play)
;PTT - like in Rizapn patch for PTT;
;* - ‘doing s. else in mp3’
;GREEN - toggle light
;RECORD - battery voltage (DeadMan’s patch, or block from it needed)
;long press 7/9 - rewind/fast_forward
