Bug in sending sms... but where... - GSM-Forum

I have a problem. I tried to check it but this is very difficult because my problem is not regular. (it is one a day, sometimes one a week...)

When I try to send sms - I press Options/Send - my phone freezes (but not always) and after it phone turns off . I don`t know which patch made it ...

I thought that this may be a battery but I checked other battery (that phone works well ) and I had the same problem all the time so this must be a patch, but which...?

Has anybody the same problem ?

Maybe "Direct Send SMS Message" (DSM)

Ok, I have this patch. I`ll check it. I have version 1 so I`ll uninstall it and I`ll apply version 2.

Version 2 is also buggy!

Don't ask me why I hope some patch master will have a look at this two patches.

My experience with DSM1 and DSM2 was that I was able to write message but when I accessed my phonebook the mobile switched off

I haven`t had any problems since I uninstalled this patch. I don`t need it so much and I didn`t install version 2

I installed DSM2 now

Just for testing purposes maybe with new BFA and FAM patches this version runs stable now. I'll report later - well it's a pity with DSM because they are very usefull
