can patching cause severe shortening of battery life on sl45iv56?

can patching cause severe shortening of battery life? has anyone noticed that?
can u tell me which patch exactly did that?
theese are the patches i applied on 2phones(mine and my girlfriend's):
004 - Get access to SIM Location directly using front UP Arrow key.vkp
009 - Use [STAR] [GREEN] as an Illumination Toggle shortcut.vkp
021 - Toggling between SIM-Location and Addressbook when entering SMS Recipient No.vkp
024 - Use only long press of # to unlock keypad.vkp
025 - Eliminate Keylocked message box when locking the keypad.vkp
094 - No Temporary Light After Key Unlocked v03 .vkp
114 - BSA. Blank Screen for Battery Saving v2 .vkp
161 - Shows battery status in percent.vkp
216 - SMV. SMS Multiple Vibra.vkp
222 - PWS. Phone Without SIM Card.vkp
239 - BFP. Bitmap File Preview v1.1.vkp
Assign Any Ringtone to Any Listed Phone Number.vkp
Disable Java-classes verification.vkp
Speedup Datatransfer.vkp
this last one i applied only on my phone
Skip_Addressbook_for_SMS_Viewing_v4(yr).vkp

her phone has crappy battery life mine is ok. of course we have different kind of batteries(i have 850mAh chineese battery, she has 650mAh old Koracell battery). but i was wondering: can patches affect her phone and not mine? or do they affect both phones but my battery is better and younger?
the thing is that before patching her phone, battery life was about 1 day. now the phone almost can't stay on without recharger connected.

what is ur opinion and what experience do u have with patches shortening battery life?

I have an SL45i mobile phone, it's age is 3 or 4 years (don't know), but with its original 650mAh battery the phone still lasts minimum 4 days (8 days if good signal). I've been patching quite a lot since two years. No effects on battery lifetime...
As you said the battery kept on working for only one day before patching I think it's a coincidence: the battery said good-bye the same time as you started patching. My tip: buy a new one for her (battery or phone, whatever).

the bad thing is that my phone started acting wierd: it gives me low battery warning at 60% percent of battery remaining. started undoing patches from the latests. maybe it will work!!!

As rc-flitzer said.... Patching does not affect battery lifetime (of course some patches which access MMC-card during their action will shorten battery)

About the 60% remaining... Have you ever used your firmware or do you've uploaded some from internet? If yes then it can be that your sensor settings are wrong. If no then don't have any idea... Maybe the latest patch of charger can help you with this problem

If you can you should try to restore your original eeprom to the firmware you are using now. I did that and my problems with the battery are long time gone.
Regards.

ok. i restored fw56 and original eeprom(although i did not tamper with the eeprom ever) and phone still powers off suddenly when it still has enough battery. o assume it was not software problem. funny thing is that i noticed that the phone freezes a few seconds before powering off(not normal power off but sudden power off as if removing battery). i cleaned contacts, and i am thinking of opening the phone to clean inside contacts too.
anyone has any ideas?
