Question Editing the T9 database

Hello

Is there a way I can edit the T9 database? Editing as in removing unwanted words, adding words, correcting spellings of words, etc. And also creating a totally new t9 database with my language?

Can it be done?

Hi,
IMHO you can't do it.
You can take differents T9 language dataset and "merge" togheter to make an unique T9 custom langpack to put in your phone (I did it using T9 new dataset from AOL, and it works ).

Bye

T9 compression algo is not known, so you cannot create your own T9

Hello Misko,
nice to hear you again.
You can use Smelter o EEprom tool also on S45i, as Cyper wrote.
Or you can use T9 editor by b@lli to edit that eeprom block where new words are stored
What do you mean by "moved eeprom"?

The chance does not seem to be good to "port" the user t9 database from S45 to S55, i tried with x35 and SL45.... No way!! Even both phones use same base platform

Yes, i am proud owner of both 45 and 55, but porting only between 55.
i am making my S55 by model S45. patches are different, but my desire is to have similar functions in S55. so i am porting some patches from S55v20 to v91.

but i want to have also SL45i - my unrealised dream
