Just cant understand Flashing sl45


Hi All,

Here is my problem.... I searched your forum like for 2 or 3 days to find a solution. But beacuase i a a very big newbie at flashing mobile phones I just dont understand the information on this forum!
I have a quiite old sl45...I want to flash it to sl45i..
Which program can I use and where can I find it?
To avoid these questions in the future...cant the pro's make like a tutorial on how to flash your mobile phone?

www.sl45i.prv.pl > Flash > fw56 (download it)
Run this program, select skips, in Config, change PORT COM, baud: 115200, and Synch.Station. Now click START, and insert (phone is off) to the station. wait ~10 minutes. Now you must find program: JavaActivator, and active Java.

where the hell can I find javaactivator? Gimme sum advice where to find?

not any luck..I cant find it @ gsm-free.com

some one knows where?

AND SORRY FOR `the multiple topics...it was a mistake


also.....the rogram for the software of my phone that I flashed worked properly....but when I started my phone...nothing changed?? is that normal?

or is rwally the only thin missing the java-activator?

Update...

so I found a java activator...i did ask me something like Aeroplane check...confirm yes/no?


I pressed yes...

and then my cell phone was like before all of this..it was just original!
how could this happen?
Everything went well?

press No This is a question; if you press Yes phone is turned off You can delete this function (patch).

It doesnt work that way with my mobile..

When I press no..the phone turns off..when I press yes...the phone is completely original...

Why why why?

Don't panic man this is the normal. When you press yes you confirm the "turn on" of the phone and if you press no the phone turns off.

aight..Im not stressin Out

But...I know now the whole yes or no thing...but when I confirm the turn on...the phone turn on like normal..but then its like nothin happend? Just like the flash didnt work..(while all the software said id dit)
so I did the flash..I did the java thing...and now Im stuck with still my original phone?

No no no no your phone now is ready to be patched You have just upgraded it to the latest version. Now everything is original of course but it won't be after you apply a couple of patches. My advice is that you have to read this post in order to understand what is going on. Of course there is an easy way to do all these and you can find that here . And of course you can easily do what all of us did in order to learn more things about... everything Use the search function of this forum and read everything... Good luck
