Oh, and can anyone tell me, are the sms held in the sms.dat file? Because I'm thinking of ways to make my sms memory bigger...
Maybe someone has anlready come up with the solution? I'm willing to give up to 100kb of memory for it!!!

I've messed with the sms.dat file, made it 62,7kb. Checked it in hexedit. Should be ok. Then I renamed the ine in phone the sms.da_ and copied the edited one into phone. Restarted phone, Bzzzzz. No turn on! Rewrote eeprom, it started, but now I have the 17kb one again.... Can anyone tell me what needs to be changed in the eeprom for it to accept the 62kb file? Can it be done?

Thanx in advance!

Edit: I'm begining to think that the dat file is part of eeprom..... Not a happy thought!

KOTSK_20.BIN (attached)

The BIN file is a partial part of my M55V11 fubu that contains all 769 default pictures (most of them are modded). Btw this BIN file also contains the character graphics, which are usually can be modded by SiemensCE™.

# all pics are written outside of FFS areas. yes, i'm using Disk_A_3.5MB patch. and of course it will work on either non-patched disk or any 3.xMB patched disk, but not on any 4MB patched disk.

# changes some 2 colors (1 bit) and 4 colors (2 bits) pictures into colorfull (8 up to 16 [actually 12] bits) pictures.

# replacing the duck faces into cool smiley icons.

# replacing analog clock background into fullscreen pic that's usefull for backgrounding the digital clock patch in screensaver mode.

# ST55 main menu icons (no animated yet!).

# added 8 bits digital clock patch pictures (332..334).

# added 8 bits advanced net indicator in keylock mode patch pictures (620..626).

# added 8 bits profile logo patch pictures (323..329).

# added 8 bits vibra logo patch pictures (330..331).

# added 8 bits numeric pictures, usually used for Indicator patches (e.g. Battery Percent Level, Net Peak level, etc.).
* [0]..[9] -> digits -> @ 601..610
* [°C] -> celcius degree -> @ 392
* [dB] -> decible -> @ 419
* [K] -> kilo -> @ 420
* [M] -> mega -> @ 421
* [V] -> volt -> @ 422
* [%] -> percent -> @ 618
* [.] -> dot -> @ 619
* [-] -> minus -> @ 646

# many, many more ...

To use this file, after applying the PIC_MOD patch, then you need to apply this patch below:

Code:
;M55V11 - Modify the Total Pic Numbers
0x362A9A: 5503 0103
0x362AAE: 5503 0103
0x362AC2: 5503 0103
0x362AD6: 5503 0103
... then flash the KOTSK_GFX_20.BIN at Addr: 0x200000h.

Or, if you are not apply the PIC_MOD patch yet, then use this patch below:

Code:
;M55V11 - Modify the PIT Addresses
0x362A96: 00004201 40195501
0x362ABE: 00005601 40195501
0x362AD2: 08185601 40195501
Of course, you need to mod some desired patches because i've been move their pics into another numbers (see what modded list).

Note that some numbers are using the same picture, e.g. melody manager pictures (755..760). So, when you try to replace the picture, that's mean you will change the whole desired numbers.

:
:

i'm not too smart in graphics painting i made a few of them, and the rest are taken on the net. You can change the pics as you like.

rrrr, i think that you may able to use this patch for another firmware version since they are all using the same PIT and pic addresses. The only things you need to changes are these following values below. Open your fubu file with a Hex Editor and do search + mod for these four values:

Code:
;the first of 4 bytes is the PIT-address
;the last of 2 bytes is the total of pic numbers
00 00 42 01 01 03 ;1
40 19 55 01 01 03 ;2
00 00 56 01 01 03 ;3
08 18 56 01 01 03 ;4
Tons of thx to people there (sorry i cant remember your names) for his/her
great pictures, patches, ideas, etc. Enjoy!

Oo, well, one more think ... sorry for my English
And i'm waiting your nice pics, lol

What about V91 ?
I'd like to test that mod
Thanks =)

btw, both of V11 and V91 are using the same offsets.

Hi all! I'm now officialy on SW91!!! I finaly applied it and put all the patches I had before, even some new graphics... And I want to say that it realy is more stable and a bit faster or just doesn't hang up as much as SW10. So can anyone tell me what this thing above does, since I'm on V91?

Thanx.
