ME45i synchronization issues (Quicksync, XTND,.. ) - GSM-Forum

Hi there,
I flashed my me45 with s45i firmware (using winswup), applied these patches:

***************************
Disable for the first CRC check
298AE2: DA CC
298AE3: CD 00
298AE4: DC CC
298AE5: 59 00

Disable for the second CRC check
2DB73A: 2D 0D

Upgrade S/ME45 -> S45i:
2CB102: 3D 0D

NetMonitor
2A9156: 2D 0D

Open-BfB (for use of SensorTool):
2963CA: 20 0A

and unlocked it with me45tools (I did not change imei - it was the same as with original firmware) and now my phone works OK, except for the sync utilities. Siemens explorer works Ok, but quicksync and XTND dont work.

1. WHen I try to sync with XTND my ME45i writes "Application locked during sync" while MS Outlook says: "Syncronization aborted due to errors".

2. When I try to sync with Quicksync I get an error in saying "Process comunication has failed. Error number: 429. Module name: DES. Function name: DirMobileEntryFiles".

I tried anything I could think of, I even tried some shareware utilities but none worked. Any thoughts or ideas would be great!

Forgot to mention:
I am not using any language or T9 packs on my mobile, I am using English language (language set to "default"). On the PC I am using english Windows and MS office 2002 and all the contacts are without any weird characters!

If anyone knows haw to convert contacts from outlook (.csv or any other format) into .adr file - because then I would be able to copy the .adr file into the phone with the siemens explorer.

I just need my Adressbook!

I tried one more thing (and failed):

I flashed my phone with my original fubu and all my contacts and a******* were back. Then I used the Siemens explorer to simply copy all the files on my computer. I flashed my phone with the me45iv04 again and simply tried to copy all the files to my phone via the Siemens explorer. The files did copy but the adressbook in the phone is still empty.

Any thoughts?

SOLVED!!!!!!!!!

Solution: I dont have a clue

I flashed my phone with s45iv04 firmware again and reinstalled XTND and now it works. Of course it still doesnt work with quicksync but who cares
