Member: 67838 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Memory Map / docs for patching/programming an SL45(i) I'm interested in learning how to create patches for the SL45(i) (FW56). I'd like to know what to use to write the code (I suppose it should be ASM - in this case, what CPU does the SL45 use?), and find some docs on the phone memory map (important addresses, locations, variables etc) and programming guides if possible. Thank you for your help. Andrei |

Use the program AT+CGSN Debugger, latest version 1.5.7. You can download it from www.gsm-dev.com or www.gsm-dev.de (one of these links isn't working). It's good tool, and you can test your patches in RAM (e.g. beginning with 0x018200 is a free RAM area). Or you can search the RAM. Is a good tool. Then another good idea is to apply the patch "switch between atcgsn and mamaich patch" (or similar), so you can switch between the possibility of using atcgsn-debugger and the online patching mode from vklay (if you want to test/apply your patch in the flash instead of RAM). |
