A midlet to auto-send SMS regularly

Here is a midlet developed by Mr. Potter, which can send SMS automatically at starting-up, and it can send different SMS regularly through setting up appointments, provided the patch "Java via entrypoints" is first applied.

It can also send one same SMS to a group of numbers, number editing is in the file number.txt, different numbers are seperated by comma.

You can edit message in the file msg.txt, different messages are seperated by 'enter' key after each paragraph.

The file n.txt is for the midlet to decide which message were sent, and which will be sent next time by adding 1 automatically.

When you want it to send different SMS regularly through setting up appointments, after the patch "Java via entrypoints" is first applied, you will have to disable the confirmation dialog in sending SMS. This can be done through another patch "Secure SMS", which will disable the confirmation dialog in sending SMS after this selection: Profiles -> Profile3 -> Service tones -> click 'Network found'.


Note: after downloading the attachment, remove .txt .

Here is a SecureSMS midlet developed by Mr Potter.

The SecureSMS midlet features: group sending, SMS content editable (msg.txt), receipt phone number editable (nb.txt, with numbers seperated by colon, do not put ENTER), picture display, send LAI/CI info (base station info, use it with GPS), send IMEI info.

1. Apply SecureSMS patch first

edit a:\java\s\z.jad

TXT files are in UNICODE.
picture: gsm.png, use PHOTOSHOP to edit picture.

If you do not use TXT files, use UltraEdit to edit Z.jad to revise MSG & NUMBER. ( in UTF-8 code (NO BOM)).
