Please help my SL45 - GSM-Forum

After patch and flash many times. My phone is mad. I can turn it on but I cann't press any key though Red button. When a call is comming, I must use handset and click on handset button to receive the call.
I don't think my Hardware failed. It may be due to software.

I fullflash and epprom by unisiemens.

Try to undo a few last patches you applied and check if it helped. If that does't help try to clean the keypad with a spitit or other cleaning agent suitable to that purpose.

Hi Froster, thanks for your reply.
I thinks keypad is OK. Because I can turn it on by RED button, when the boot is finished, I cann't press RED button to shutdown it. (The keypad couldn't work anymore)
If I want to turn it off. I must remove battery out.
About software, I have just fullflash with fw56fulllashclean Fubu by Unisiemens software.
Please give me another solution for this.

Well, if you flashed your phone with clean fubu and it still does't work properly for it would be a hardware problem. However, I'm not very good at this stuff so maybe someone with better knowledge in this matters will write something.

Seems to be a hardware problem.Sometime Volume buttonds get shorted and the whole key pad stops working please check fot that.Open the phone and check for water demage as well.

I have just fixed it. Volume buttons have problem. I cleaned it.

As I know no patch affect on all key board, so it's sure that hardware problem. Some months before I faced this problem => just open cover (by hand only, because my phone is old and I have no tools at that time), then clean the contact keboard => all OK!

note: These contact on Ur keyboard pad maybe fill with metal-dust. Do it carefully, the problem will be solved
