RizaPN is the best

without him all this would not exist.

gfx menu has the same bug here

if you want to select an new profile normaly, the cursor is on the
selected profile item, with this path you can set the curset per
default on you favorit profile.

this evening i have an new patch for you, "show selected profil"
this will show the selected profile on main screen. You can begin
to draw some 32*8 sized pictures for each profile (1..7)

Hi,

I need some HELP regarding the patch :

*** Show an icon "home/office/mobile" on incoming call ***
( @skylord I think )

Very usefull patch, and I applied it correctly . No problems !

BUT what the author failed to mention is that for the nice icons,
some fonts have been replaced ....

You may don't know that the fonts that have replaced are for 4 GREEK capital letters !
And it happens for me to be Greek ! .....

So, I need urgently HELP. I like the patch and I need it .
I must change the addresses where the icons have been placed...
Probably those at 0B4xxx 0B9xxx and 07Axxx (?)...

Unfortunately 'ffmod' doesn't show addresses for individual fonts.
I need therefore some suggestions. Probably if all Unicode chars are implemented I will find some unused for me place.

More IMPORTANT I need to know what must I change inside the code part of the patch to refer to the new addresses where I have to put the icons.

I didn't had any similar problem for the SL45i case applying the same titled patch.

Please help !

I think that the SW doesn't know taht now the images are 32*8, there are another hex values to change...what do you think ??

sorry, i don't know what you mean... you can change resolution
of profile-logo by changing this values:

0DE868: 1224 2008
0DE870: 1424 2008
0DE878: 1523 2008
0DE880: 1123 2008
0DE888: 1522 2008
0DE890: 1522 2008
0DE898: 1520 2008

but remember not to make them to big so they don't get
overlapped. If you want to make them much bigger you haver to
change adress of picture.

you don't know how it works. try it and you'll see. you have onle a little logo under the antenna's range indicator and above operators logo

in fact, 32*8 is to little for draw smthg sensible. acid - is ithat possibility to see profile logo in the place of operator logo with logo operator 's resolution?

or Acid or someone else- maybe d'you nice profile pics in 32*8 resolution?

Which part of the code at 07Cxxx are the addresses of the icons,
in order to be modified ?

For me , I first reverted back the 07Axxx part of the patch
( not the 07Cxxx part ) and I didn't notice any change ....
Icons still showing on incoming calls and had replaced 4 Greek capital letters.
Second I reverted back the 0B4xxx & 0B9xxx parts and at last Icons changed back to the missing characters !

How can I change the position of the Icons ?
What is the use of 07Axxx part since it did not change anything by restoring only it ?

Which tool should help me the better ?
I tried to use "ffmod" , but I don't understand the 'addressing' when it operates in 'font' mode .
At what address each font resides ?
Besides for some fonts, especially Greek, the bottom part is missing.
Maybe the font size is greater than assumed...
Also pressing the 'back' arrow , it doesn't go back but still goes forward....

I really appreciate the work that has been done by the creators of these patches and also the tools for modification of flashes or flash updating etc. I am gratefull for that .

But I need some help here...
Although 'newbe' or Junior for the forum, I have some tech experience !

@Acidmrp can you make patch just like for SL45. I think about Call minutes beep modification. This means: 0:50, 1:50, 2:50, etc.. It will be very usefull patch

Thanks for your answer for "Icons on incomming calls".

The way you formatted addresses and byte contents for icons
helps me understand what it does...

It is the same byte content 3 times and since it subsitutes fonts for characters , it goes for normal, bold, and small font for the same character each time.

Of course the initial character is substituted by an Icon.
You just have changed the icons in the original posted patch.
Am I right ?

BUT my problem is that at these locations ( addresses ) the 4 Greek capital letters reside... ( for lg4 pack i.e. Mediterinean ).
I do not want to design new icons ...

These letters are : "capital XI" at unicode code 03 9E, "capital SIGMA" at 03 A3 , "capital PSI" at code 03 A8 and "capital OMEGA" at 03 A9.

Your 1st block represents my first mentioned char and so on.

The real need of mine is to to put these icons in another place in order not to loose these characters needed in my language - Greek. So I need to know where in the code part of the patch refers to these addresses 07Axxx, 0B4xxx, 0B9xxx.

I also need to relate Addresses in Flash memory with Unicode hex values representing characters in order to find new locations .

There are "empty" places like the one for Unicode 03 A2 ( not assigned ) or 03 CF ( also not assigned ).
I might also find some place in the Cyrillic area - unicode 04 xx - which is of no use for me , as it was Greek area for Russians.

Using "ffmod" I can see some "empty" locations but I can't relate them to addresses in Flash memory. Besides it is a beta with problems in the 'font' part although quite usefull for images and ringtones.

Any ideas ?
