How make screenshot in SL45i?

I have SiemensDebugger and SiemensScreenshot, but I need bfb patch for SL45i.

there is already a thread for this topic. you can check it whether there is an improvement. i have also searched the net but i could not find any solution for sl45 bfb patch. i hope someone can find a solution. here is the link to the thread i have mentioned;

All you need:

-ATCGSN-Debug2 (www.gsm-dev.de) (also the Patch included !!)
-mamaich´s patch core
-patch from arshor (for switch between online patching & AT-Mode
-original cable+syncstation (!)

Read the Instructions inside the patch carefully and be happy !

there are two different versions of Advanced debugging with AT+GSN designed by mamaich. Previously I have installed the Version 0.71 beta. But there was no response from both SiemensDebugger and SiemensScreenshot. But I did not test the Version 0.5 which uses some flash area i have used for my custom ring tones. As I remember I have also test the Version 0.5 but again there was no response from SiemensScreenshot.

@trustkill:

could you publish the required file here or send them via mail. btw how can i decide which version of AT+GSN patch is in operation when I activated function 16 in application menu. I have installed arshor's "switch between mamaich/acid[mrp] AT+CGSN patch using APP menu" and tried to communicate with SiemensScreenshot employing both checked and unchecked options but again there was no response.

I use Version 0.71 beta, and the Advanced AT+CGSN Debugger 1.5.7.0 by gsm-dev.de

As you can see in arshors patch: When Function 16 is off you can call the mobile with the AT+CGSN Program, if on you can flash patch "online"

And I forgot: Maybe you have to change the playfield.ini because there is no entry for "SLIK", use the SL45 values....

We have to make it more clearly. There are several AT+CGSN patches for different usages, I'll list them up:
- Mamaich's patch v0.71 (the big patch core, don't use older versions), it's useful for online flashing with your original sync-station.
- ATCGSN-Debugger v1.5.7, it has its own atcgsn-patch, which is (as a stand-alone) not cooperating with the patch from mamaich.
- Siemens Debugger with BFB mode. The activation of open BFB mode in SL45i is unexplored, so there's no usage of Siemens Debugger for this phone.

So, if you want to use online flashing AND atcgsn-Debugger (with screenshot function), you have first to install both listed patches (mamaich's patch core, atcgsn patch from Acid), after that install "switch between online patching & AT-Mode" from arsh0r (maybe vklay says there are some bytes not right, but forget it).

Then you have both patches installed. If you want to make screenshots, uncheck function 16 (for online flashing). If you want to flash online with vklay, checkmark the function. Hope it works...

Still I have no success :-( I followed all the instructions that you sent but ATCGSNDebug does not recognize the phone. Since previously I downloaded faster data transfer patch, I also tested the whole instructions with and without the faster data transfer patch. But there was no response from the ATCGSNDebug. I could not also patch files online with Vklay.

I checked all the procedure several times but I could not find any mistake. Do you have any suggestions for me?

just in case you are still no luck, and think about an alternative,
download the capturer from this site, http://www.geocities.com/rizapn (sl45 section) ... It just a capturer, no other function included, but you can select the AT+CGSN type, the ones which is used by Acid s/w, my original&chaos format (at+cgsn:page,offset), mamaich format (at+cgsn:dXXXXXX), my unpublished ones (at+cgsn.d.page,offset), or any other modified AT+CGSN patch.

I noticed that your program can communicate with the phone and recognize whether the patch required to capture the screen is installed or not. it recognized both patches in accordance with my selection of one of the AT+CGSN patches using APP menu. the problem is that it read the all the offset but could not capture the screen. maybe my problem is similar to the one experienced by;

Have you change the AT+CGSN Type in the capturer? If you are using AT+CGSN used by Acid s/w you must select to Type 2 (before pressing Capture). If you are using mamaich style, change to Type 3. If you want to make 2 or 3 as your default, just modify the capturer.ini content (CGSNType value) ...

I think that there must be a bug in your (of course very, very great!) program.

I use the "mamaich" code for online flashing & the AT+CGSN used by Acid s/w
for "screen capturing"
Both are working very good.

But your capturer is always (in any combination) reading and reading and reading...

Whats wrong ?
