Hey on my SL55 on SW-Version: .18 that means that i have v 18 ? and the SW-Date: 2004-05-27 is there a newer version ? Please help me

Yes this newer version and there is the newest v20 (WinSWup) that you can d/l from here if you need to upgrade

Could someone adapt the m55 or s55 "Disable Acoustic Shock Protection" patch to the SL55 v16? For those who doesn't know what this is about, I'm talking about the patch that disables the feature that makes the phone start playing ringtones at very low volume, and then the volume goes up gradually. With the applied patch, the ringer starts at high volume. Tks.

try to search strings before and after patch (open S55v91 and SL55 firmware in winhex).
for example:
27F22E: 2E 2D ;incoming
, you are finding 2E string, in S55v91 are some bytes before and after, so: XX2EYYYYZZZZ... from S55v91, copy it and:
try to search it in SL55 firmware

sometimes its hard, but sometimes its more than easy.
i havent firmware of SL55, try it by your own, it will be your first port of patch
