SLIK: miniGPS and block 5169

Hello world!
I would like to install miniGPS in my SL45/SLIK v56.
That patch require eeprom block 5169, as you know.
I'm using siemens eeprom tools 3.xx
Phone connected and recognized (service mode).
I select the block file and click on Save button.
The program say "writing" in the status bar, for long time (several minutes, more than a FUBU write) and the phone remain in service mode.
Up to now (20~30 min) program has not finished.
If i disconnect or switch off the phone program say "error calling ...."
In you opinion is normal that updating this block of eeprom with that program require so long time?
Any suggestion/comment/idea will be very appreciated.

This is not the normal. Loading of the block eeprom to the phone should last to a maximum several seconds. To updating eproms block use Siemens Eprom tools v 3.15 by Skyworld - it works well.
Message "error calling..." can be due a damage of epp blocks, reflesh phone FUBU again before you will load new epp block.
