Great patch, XTask v0.1a - switch dialogs !
Many thanks to Seklth & Rst7 !!!

Now we can freely shift among opened applications just by pressing one key. Instead of closing current application, the phone can minimize current window and activate other previously opened window. That is the multi-application operation!

I tested XTask with running dictionary in java in background and phone works stably.
No hangs, no resets, everything wirks fine
I'ts great patch, now I no longer wait on loading and executing the Java application.
Great thanks to Sekltch. This only confirms mine opinion that you are a very good patcher.

I tested XTask and have to say, it's no more worth than version 0.1 - it does not work properly, it crashes MP3 and Java apps, it shuts off mobile.
At first, I don't have dictating machine anymore on shortcut button. Secondly, when I start it in mainscreen mode, nothing happens except flickering screen. When running a song in MP3 player, using the patch stops the songs while switching to mainscreen. In Java apps it's quite the same. Or when I press dictating key 3 or 4 times then, it crashes whole mobile.

Can't understand it. Do you use another FW?

That would be nice - if it was running properly, which it isn't.

In most cases I simply need additional task temporarily, so I use ### Main menu everywhere which has a similar function. Maybe this is causing the other patch to malfunction? Seklth??

XTask might be a very good patch, but still it's very unstable.

Mp3 player unable to play, looks like fozen after one switch; only the switcher is working, it's able to go to the main screen.

Java (tested on Xlator) crashes after a few switches.

Without java or mp3 loaded - phone freezes showing an error number after the switch, sometimes it goes to the address book.

PS. I don't have ### Main menu everywhere.

I agree with Seklth, it work. I dont use UNI, but almost clean firmware (only a few useful for me patch is applying)

@rc-flitzer: I admit, I did not test XTask with mp3 player, because that I did not use MP3 on my phone. Maybe the instability is due an access to MMC?

@G spot: I use XTask to switch to Xlator (v 1.08fb) and it works OK. My phone was not switched off for 6 days (i apply XTask patch in 21.09.2006) and thenceforward I have Xlator in the background task and simply this works fine for me. I do phone call and send/recive SMSes, no hangs, no resets. Today I will load Xtask v 0.2 and I will begin tests.

Mp3 works well.
Do not close the song selection window after pressing rec button.

New suggestions:

patch works, quite well. As you told Xinshou, we can`t close mp3 song selection menu, but:

when we enter to gfx menu after rec, phone turns off automatically, in main menu not...

patch has some problems when phone is without sim... when I am in mp3 I can only switch between mp3 song selection menu and mp3.

OK, it's working thanks to suggestion of Xinshou.

Some problems occurs with access of two threads to the memory card, but I understand, that it's not a bug of this patch.
