DMD. Display Message Delay

DMD. Display Message Delay

What is the sense of this patch ? The deeper meaning remained obscure to me.

If you delete SMS or appointment, you will get "Message Deleted" which is stay in the screen for about 2 seconds. Or, if you press *#0000# followed by GREEN, you will get "Executed" message which also stay in the screen for 2 seconds. That patch will reduce that 2secs delay to become our own (in the case we still want to get that message but for a shorter time).

@ MackCam

Hi and thanx for this patch
but I have a problem. I patched my phone with this patch and I have ICF and Doing Something else while recording patches. I turned on AutoAnswer in ICF. I have pre recorded answering note but when the calls come, the autoanswer becomes on but nothing happens as an answering machine. what's the problem? is there any other patches I must install or not?

If the mobile phone is in charging, it will not vibra when connected. The appointment has the same situation.

;*** VWC. (just another) Vibra When Connected ***

;Firmware : SL45v56
;Author : rizapn
;Published : July 03, 2004

i have a question about this patch.
to change the number of the vibration to 1 just change this
;0x27E6C1: FF xC ; x is 0..F

to: 0x27E6C1: FF 1C ; x is 0..F ?

cuz it cant work. while the vklay work there is a message:
"error at address 0x27E6C1:
data in phone memory: 3C, old data in path: FF, new data in patch 1C.

warning!!!
the old data for some or all block in this patch is not found in flash.
may be the patch has been already applied or you have a wrong version of flash.

do you want apply this patch anyway?
.... yes/no"

may i continue? and if i will apply this patch can i undo this?

sorry my bad english ad lame question. thx

Hello People!

1. I'd like to apoliogize all of You for my patch "Answering Machine”, because it seems like that it works only on my own soft. Please DON'T USE IT till I will check it precisely!!!

2. The patch "Automatic Recording ” works for 100% !
Could enybody transform it on eligible from APP Application? I'll be thankful.

Best regards, vBart.

MacKam, I'm sorry.
All of You, I'm sorry.

@winds0r: Maybe there is already some VWC patch installed (earlier version?). If so, uninstall it first. If you don't have the old version anymore, please use vklay 2.6 for patching, because it creates a "repair patch" when overwriting data. If the phone runs after patching: fine. If not, you can undo(!) the repair patch - but that wouldn't solve your problem.

@RizaPN: It's a nice feature to set the message delay myself. But I wouldn't use this because you can nearly always press the red button to let the message disappear. Only if you change language it doesn't work (but that's not sooo often).

@xc8: The manually setting with +/- keys is a very good idea. I don't know if RizaPN could do this so easily. I would be very thankful.

@all: Has somebody already tried out the new answering machine patch? Note: I think you have to uninstall the auto record patch by me & DeadManS, at least the part about incoming calls.

OK, I think you mean rc-flitze but I may help you also

Vklay 2.6 creates a "UNDO Patch" including the old data from your mobile.
When you want to undo the patch, simply use this new "UNDO Patch", push the button "Undo" in Vklay and voilá: All undone.

You are right Xljem,
but it happends always when phone should vibrating but is charging.
So it's a fw feature (very common, most phones do so), not a bug.
I thing there is a bit somewhere in RAM that is setted off when phone knows to be connected to charger.
I don't like this feature and would like to change it, sooner or later.
