Use ICD. Incoming Call Display v2.2 together with Addon for usage with FAM3.
"Some Graphical Patches donst work" -> Thats right, but thats only because of PIT relocation. You can change the pictures via SPC2 (do not use SPC3 its very very buggy). Which Patches dont work, too ?

Some excerpts:
Quote:
;*** Calling Images (Incoming call pictures) V3 ***
;Picture must be monochrome BMP, size 101x65
Quote:
;*** ICD. Incoming Call Display v2.2 ***
;Display caller number image (101x38) (original by chaos)
I prefer 101x65 pixels. With the smaller size from ICD I can't put in a picture with enough detailed information. You know, it's still monochrome, so for a fast face recognition on incoming call it's better to have more pixels. Sounds logical, or?

So, question stays. Calling Images v3 still not works with Uni2. I know, it's just the line "4BB556:", but I don't know anything about pictures and PIT and such things. Maybe someone can tell how to put Calling Images into Uni2?

Aren´t that details enough ?

And, you can use animated images...
But you are right, using some "older/other" patches together with UNI would be good.

There's still no solution for Calling Images v3 in Uni2 patch. And I said, I have no knowledge about picture moving and so on - if you know, please let me know, too.

No, you did not understand me. "Arent that details enough" -> I dont want to affront you, i mean 101x38 are enough details for ME. I dont need bigger images and dont have the knowledge to include CIv3 in UNI.

OK. I tried ICD v2.2 in all details:
1st: It is possible to do bigger gfx than 101x38 !
Code:
;v2->no more conflict with java & use any height of image
So, why using Calling Images v3 anymore ?

Animated Images can be done easy, "tutorial" is written in the patch description:
Code:
;Maximum size of animated images is 3,646 bytes.
;It can be any number of images sequences with 101 pixel width.
;The images sequence is stored in a single BMP file, 1 images followed
;by the next in the vertical structure. Each part should have same height.

;After saving the images as a monochrome bitmap, you MUST edit this
;BMP file address (use any HexaEditor):
;0x0036: number_of_images (1 byte)
;0x0037: Y position of images in the incoming call screen
You can do this with WIndowsPaint or any gfx-program.
And a HexEditor is "must have" for patchers like us :-)
Also a perl-script for doing this is possible.

hi ! i'm a completly new with UNI2, and have some troubles, hope someone help me to solve

I own a SL45i, Slik56, after applied serveral patches, my phone work great, but i heart about UNI2, a set of very useful patches, so i reflash my phone to original Slik56 with winswup from siemens and then activate Java.
Follow the readme instruction in UNI2 0.64, i applied two first patch (1_ISS.vkp and 2_PIT.vkp ) with v_klay 3.3, no error found, and turn on the phone to UNI2 setup. But i can't find that UNI2 menu, the fone stay the same as before?
Anyone can help me, tell me how can i install UNI2 to my SL45 with original firmware ver56?
Thanks

Uni2 is on Menu/Device/UNI2 setup
Don't forget to apply the uni2 language file (uni2_eng.lng) first!
