SL45 Prototype with GPRS -> Here is the FubU

After a long discussion with the owner of the prototype of the SL45 with GPRS (see here: http://www.munich-handy.de/index.php...=80&han_id=206),
I have received today the fullbackup of the phone !

Be careful if installing and do a backup of your phone before installing. You also have to activate the GPRS function in Netmonitor (!) before using it, otherwise the phone will shut down.
Attached Files
File Type: rar fubu.rar (41.7 KB, 189 views)

No, no. It contains a highly compressed fullbackup-file. You better unrar it and then open with hexedit.

No no. Its pre version of v56. Was only used for the prototypes for GPRS. I tried some v56 patches on it, they work.

But: Please do a backup before using it !

@macgyver91: Yes there are some other intersting things in the firmware. You have to open it with hexedit to see the description.

@truskill
Please help me! I can't see the GPRS symbol on my mainscreen. Might it be I'm using the wrong access data?

I'm using Vodafone Germany. Is this data correct?

Wow, finally GPRS! I'm happy that I can use E-Plus Germany, they have cheap costs for traffic.

@trustkill:
I have still problems flashing the 20 MB fubu. VKlay says it can only flash up to 16MB. Did you use another tool for this? I have several ones, maybe I should try uniSiemens or freia (which version?).

Another idea, maybe we could use the space of 20MB for extending the standard v56 software. That would be great, just put in there some binaries or the big uni patch. With that we wouldn't have to use the few free areas in standard fubu.

@n0rbi666:
I can image that uni patch doesn't work yet. But I think, seklth will create a ported version, because this flash will be the new standard for patches.

@cyperghost:
Try this: "Einwahlnummer 27745 / 724379". If this doesn't work, maybe you need to change the APN into "apr.il-sche.rz" AT+GSMFOOL=1","IP".
