v56 switches off while sms-writing - GSM-Forum

My SL45i @ FW 56 sometimes switches off itself while writing a short message.
After switching on the phone the whole history( missed calls etc.) is an older version which has been already deleted. Although there is an empty message stored in the "outgoing"-folder.
What should I do? Do you have the same problems?

Until now i don't have problem with sms. Or maybe you've made patches inside your SL45? Sometime if you wrong entering patches, your SL45 could have error. If that's the case just made fullflash from your FUBU backup

Yes, i've made some patches.
But the problem does already exist before i made these patches!!

I flashed the phone from v54 to v56 by myself. After that i have this problem. Is it possible that something was going wrong in this procedure and i only have to reflash the phone!?

Please help me. It really gets on my nerves

btw: I don't have any backups of my phone.

I had the same problem. It's caused by patch code overcrossing. I solved it by reinstalling the full flash.
In your case, upgrading to FW56 could cause it, but not necessarily. Just instal FW56 once again and you wont be bothered with it anymore
