Weird display of my sl45

Have somebody seen something like I have experienced:

Display was clear at all but all functions were working well.
So I can't seen anything on display, but could call somebody.
This was for 1 day, then when I started up mobile on the next day morning it was OK again.

Before this happened the display was wrong for 1-2 hours:
The lines were duplicated and I can't see the display well.

Thx for replying!

Some months ago I switched on my SL45. It was all okay, but after some hours only half the display was visible (upper half), and there were some duplicated lines as you described. I could still use it but display was crunched.
Later the day it was different: then only the lower half was visible. Some key klicks later display was blank totally. I had patched something the day before - but a patch should show its effects immediately? Hm, I made a clear software update and the problems were gone.
Maybe this helps in your case? You "just" have to put all the patches back after doing the update.

i had similar problems with a phone(sl45 with fw56, of course) that got a little wet(had been using it in rain). all functions were ok but it fequently lost image on the display or showed the image in a funny manner. after leaving it opened for one night, battery removed, all was ok.
before this i tried reflashing but it didn't work.
so think about it: is it possible it could have gotten wet? and i don't mean wet like dropping it in water but wet as in using is in a very moist environment.

Damn! Is this a coincidence? I had a temporally rubish screen for a couple of hours too. This happened on 15 - 16 August. It was the first time my sl45 worked so strangely and till now is the last...

Autohiding option? It's not safe neither necessary to open this folder (and all other hidden folders). If you really want to do it, try to uncheck 'hidden' attribute.

Once again: Please dont use other people´s threads (this is a thread about "weird display!") for you patch questions. Did you ever heard anything about "Netiquette" ? And why do you SCREAM ?
