Well versions before 11 can be unlocked via java patch so I guess it is old x55/x60 CPU.

That is why I wonder if the Martech adaptors work for the new versions like 11 and 84. Has anyone tested?

Yes, i remove t9 ball and unlock phone with Griffin CRD - 100% work perfectly. And now possible to read fullflash or boot area 2Mb or eeprom without problem and make CF62 repair kit :)

p.s.: cpu is old x60/x55 type

what is t9 ball??? how can i remove! anyone has a picture???

regards

You can count from CPU dot mark A, B, C ... ect counterclockwise (exclude I and O letters, because in parts signing there is not used to not mismatch with digits 1 and 0) and 1, 2, 3 ... ect - clockwise from dot mark. Numbering must be looked from top view, not from BGA pins side.

Removing - easy - take out CPU, reball it, remove now ONLY T9 ball and put CPU back to PCB - he, he, heeeee - now you can play with your phone, without to think about boot protection.
