S65 Can not delete address book (PhoneCode Locked)

Hello,

I'm a newbie here, just bought a used S65 and try to delete all address book of old owner, so the phone code is lock.
Please help to resolve the problem.

By the way i have one question, how can i install new firmware on this phone? Software & cable requirement.

...regarding to your first question: You need to unlock your phone, nothing else. To unlock your phone, you need to have Papuautils software and service cable (Serial cable for C55 phones, DCA500 or USB to serial cable DCA510). If your firmware version is lower ( < 26) you unlock directly using papuautils (calculate SKey and BKey). If your version is highter (> 26) you need to use the methode with Java midlet or with testpoint. Search on my posts how to unlock it.... Regarding to the second question, you need to use data cable and SWUP file (firmware update file). Go to http://eh.student.utwente.nl/~landy/...p?dir=S65_S6C/ and download file "S65_580700.xbz_service.zip" (include language pack for: English, Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Mayalayam, Hindi). I propouse to unlock first your phone and after make the firmware upgrade... dagos

...use phone manager software (Mobile Phone Manager, MobilEdit!,Mobile Master...) and data cable. Save address book to PC from the SL45 phone and upload to S65. For software, search on my post...

I have new issue that the phone always turn off whenever i connect to USB cable, its mean i can not flash or import address book.

Can i usd bluetooth or ifrared instead?

it is funny...
Which type of USB cable you have?
Try to use serial datacable (C55 cable for flash/unlock and X65 serial datacable for the data transfer).
Search on this forum. You haved manny information regarding to your requests.
