Hi Flo sb,
since you have an experience with loudness patch (bad one ) can you tell us how to safley use it? What's the recommended (safe) level of loudness before ****ing away the speaker?
I'd like to apply that patch, but I'm afraid it's giong to be hard to replace the speaker if it's damaged.

Regards

for replacing the speaker: it is not hard at all. it is not wired.

and about the safety... well, i think that in mp3 player it is safe to use at the volume you had in non-patched svn and in ringtone it is better a little more loud (the speaker must not distort). at ringtone the max volume depends on the content played.

it is a nice patch, but i will not **** my speaker again with it because, although the speaker (original) is jut 5Euro, i cannot buy the speaker from romania and have to ask a friend to send it from Germany.

I am thinking about replacing the speaker with a cx65 one. anybody knows if the impedance is the same ? The cx 65 has an incredible loud sound !! does the speaker of cx65 fit somehow in the sx1`s speaker hole (samsung p400 speaker did )

I used this patch for 2 months.I haven't got any problem with speaker so far.I usually set it four pieces from max. That is enough to hear ringing in traffic.I used ringing+vibration you can not missed call.I admit to use handsfree for mp3 listening.

Hi Rudymed,
Does the patch come with its own volume control, or you use the phone's volume control?
So 4 pieces before max are actually louder than max volume on a non-patched svn15 ?

Thanks for the info

you won`t notice anything new in the graphical look.
just the old volume bars.

Yes 4 pieces before max is louder than max non-patched FW.
Patch change values for volume in FW.So you use the phone's control settings.
