Vodka and SE CID 36/37 etc ? - GSM-Forum

Hi guys...As Vodka only supports SonyErics CID 36/37 how am I able to tell which SonyErics are CID36 or CID 37 and same problem with Sharp's CID24 before trying to unlock them.....?

Test is not destroing.

Test is destroying in the case of the Ericsson, as you will have to reflash, due to flashing white screen as mentioned in previous posts, if you attempt to attempt to unlock any lower CID. If you have UFS then you can use that, but then u might as well unlock using that. SE Tool cracked could also provide this information i think.

Also there are some with a new flash chip which i have encountered problems with, which although CID 36 K700i, will not unlock with either, so have to use SE TOOL. Vodka Clip as far as i have tried does not unlock these models, but am sure an update will come at some point.

As I said many ppl worked on ( me too, just for check ) on many k608i , made Unlock. Got error the ones with cid49 only the others was fully functional.

( For cid 36 k700 )

I came unstuck using Vodka on non CID 36/37 K700i ended up with flashing white screen.
Vodka and SonyErics most disapointing then. Having to run SE Tools to find CID to discover if I can or can't use Vodka on the SE phone.
May as well use my USB Smart dongle+SEM Tool v6.3 to get a safe and positive unlock result.
And use Vodka for Lg's etc...

I have this problem with se k700. When i try to unlock it using vodka clip the device gives me an error directy after pressing the power button. When i use furiosu latest version i Get :

does that mean that this is the latest flash chip this guy is encountering? if so, as i suggested in previous posts, use SEMC cracked, as this will unlock without all the time invested in flashing etc.

Remove batt and put back beetwen stages and press after power on if needed.
