6600 dead phone plz help - GSM-Forum

i flash a dead 6600 using tornado flasher and cheking the box of BT, MCU, and PPM.
MCU and BT flashing complete but it could not erase some area in PPM. i recieved failed in erasing and repowering the mobile.

i tried flashing only MCU and BT. i recieve flashing complete and done. repowering mobile ok. although the phone does'nt turn on.

then i tried flashing PPM and BT. erasing was complete but there is an error in writing process. i recieve failed in repowering the mobile.

but after flashing only PPM . the flashing was complete and done. repowering the mobile is ok. although the phone does'nt turn on. here i switch on the phone. the lights did shine just in seconds but the phone was not alive

your solution, ideas will be highly appreciated

Refow board using controlled heat and then attempt to flash again.remember to upload PM file.

I alive one 6600. I use griffin and I flash only the MCU and PPM (hiest version which I have) and the phone powered up. My be this phone dead only software, so your phone my be have hardware problem. If have u must first done the hardware problem and then flash MCU and PPM, and phone must be alive. I alive one 3100 in this way - furst repair the hardware problem, and then I flash phone with MCU and PPM. So Good Luck.
