Member: 521484 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 7610 problem 1. How to download the address book from the phone and save other personal info if I need to replace the phone? 2. How to fix it? If I need to flash the phone, how do I flash it and where to get the software? 3. Why don't those keys work? I tried to figure out why keys don't work. Which pins, if more than 2, on the connector are responsible for the 3,6,9,#? I tried to do the buzz check with a voltmeter to find which pins are shorted when for example 3 is pressed; those 2 pins look ok. Manually shorting them with a wire doesn't produce a '3' on the screen either so it must be a bad/shorted connection elsewhere. Any suggestions how to troubleshoot this? I'm fairly new to the whole phone terminology and have no idea what jaf, etc are. I read some previous posts. Please do not assume I know anything. I'm very new to this. Thank you for your time. |

Member: 521484 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hmm, I think I know which IC is the simcard IC, but where is the keypad IC? I downloaded the zip with pictures and only found the simcard IC (R310 is the simcard one right? Although prefix R should mean it's a resistor pack...weird) |
