I'm having this problem too... But I have this info post the other website and I decided to post it here too. I think this will help solve our problem without sending it back to the retailer.

Guy, pls check this out:
http://mitglied.lycos.de/damiswebpag...hardreset.html

I assume this is a solution for my problem, can anyone help translate this into english. I've tried the language tool but still the translation is not clear.

I've also stumbled to this forum:
http://www.aikon.ch/cgi-bin/ikonboar...um=11&topic=57

read the 7th post by Sirius, can someone translate this too. In this forum they call this problem of mine - startup failed syndrome. Translating this will help fellow 7650 owners solve this problem and never have to ask this question again.

if you are an end user, I suggest you take it to a service center..

The cheapest device that will fix your problem will cost you around 400~500 $,,, it will cost you 1/10 of that to get it fixed.

& if you have warranty on the unit, it will be free of charge

Or you can use Nokia Phoenix to do it but you need a PKD-1.
