Oh and u gave the link probably without reading it...

"As at December 2003 18 phones that use Symbian OS from five manufacturers are shipping worldwide (including the Nokia 6600, Fujitsu F900i, Sony Ericsson P900, Motorola A925) and a further 26 phones from nine manufacturers are in development."

So who sold it to Siemens? lol...
I remember that SX1 was delayed 3 times, and just gone out in December, so siemens had to had the Symbian OS for at least more than 6 months. So someone sold it to them. And the NOKIA folder on SX1 shows it

Oh and btw, Siemens is licenced by Symbian since 2001.
"Siemens became a Symbian OS licensee in February 2001, and a Symbian shareholder in April 2002. To bring innovative products and solutions to market faster, and to reach high volume in user devices, it has entered into strategic alliances with many other partners such as NEC, Toshiba, Yahoo and Flextronics, a leading contract manufacturer."

So donīt know why they got it from Nokia...
Maybe cheaper and faster, since it was already built and tested for many time and many models of nokia... who knows...
