I'm using a belkin F8T001 bluetooth adapter[usb] and a generic sigma 4000 irda adapter[usb] the Nokia datasuite can see the irda [it also sees com 1 and 3]but not bluetooth. I've got to use the belkin software to transfer anything via bluetooth because datasuite just will not see it 'tho I've been told but so far unconfirmed that the nokia datasuite and Belkin bluetooth will work????? anyone confirm, deny?, which means some sis files won't install properly.
In general the irda works well with datasuite, but leaves a lot to be desired as it gives limited access to the file tree in the phone, to get full access you need seleq or fexplorer which being based in the phone mean a lot of manipulating files around....ho hum! ace phone let down by neutered P.C. side software.

Exclamation Bluetooth and the 6600

I have a Belkin USB Bluetooth adaptor (10 Metre USB Dongle) and use that fine on a 6600, to get it to go on PC Suite, you need to activate a serial connection using your bluetooth tools then M Router should auto detect it using the icon on your computer, only then do you open PC Suite. To shut down, just double click the serial connection icon again, it will sometimes say some sort of error, but usually M Router gets the hint and disconnects.

So yes I can confirm that it is possible, mine works, using the Belkin Bluetooth to a 6600 (firmware 3.45.1) but it was a VERY fiddy thing to set up, I used to have the N-Gage and that never wanted to work on PC Suite, and with that handset infrared wasn't an option!

Infrared is still the most stable though, but requires you to put your phone on funny angles to line up with the IR port on your computer.

But I would not use any sort of cable on the 6600 unless you were going to reflash the handset or something.
