Member: 40958 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ghoul: you can't connect your N-Gage to the PC Suite with the USB cable (stupid, I know), you can only connect with BlueTooth (that means you'll need a BlueTooth adapter for your PC) - even then it's not the easiest thing in the world, but don't worry... you're not missing much. silverboss007: you can read my post in http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?p=785457 but N-Tools isn't going to help you, if Windows doesn't detect your phone. Try finding someone with a digital camera that takes MMC and format it with that (technically you can "fix" your MMC with a Memory Card reader, I have, but it's a little harder). digitalfire http://www.digitalfire.co.za http://www.myngage.co.za |

Member: 67631 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Da Nokia PC Suite is only meant to be used with a Bluetooth adaptor for the pc and while you have Bluetooth on your phone, however you still can transfer data between the phone and pc using the USB link cable. I have noticed though that if you plug in your N-GAGE to the computer (using the usb cable) and your copying large amounts of files (e.g. 3MB) then you will be displayed with an error message stating Device drive not ready etc, so counter this problem just plug your N-Gage into the phone charger as this will power the N-Gage up and you will be able to copy files over with no problems. hope this extra bit of info helps everyone. |
