Nokia 6600 restart problem.... - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys....I have many phones with restarting prblem for one or more reason...
can any1 share their knowledge 4 this kind of problem with me..
i tried many way like flashing, formating, ........
and by hardware but cant findout the real reason....
i think its a common problem, still i dont have the real reason for doing such process
i can explain it detail about that........
my 1st 6600 was came with no mmc card detection.....
i just heat mmc conector with hotgun and problem was solved correctly.....
but after i show that if you continue menu operating or any thing its completed..
but if you stop working and put it..phone restarted many times....
what should i do for it plz help me somebody......................

gaurav.. thought about trying Nokia service centre? I'm not sure.. they'll take ur phone after u've tried all that stuff by urself..

your RAM IC is BAD. try to reflow it and full flash again. if not corrected, change with new RAM IC

try flash your phone at 1first time
try write pm value 2 time
if always restart try to reflow your chip flash

NO. is not broken flash chip. is your flash chip damage, phone can not be flashing. in this case, phone flash OK but always restart.
i has been sucsessfully repair more than 5 phone with reflow/change RAM IC not Flash IC

@ all But i dont have permition frm customer. because they just came to following reason...........still i have to take risk.....
1) Multimedia card was not detect, so i heat MMC connector and problem was sollved, but now it it restarting.......Before i repaired it was complete........there wasnt restarting problem....So can any body tell me the simple sollution for 6600..
otherwise i have to change or reboll RAM........
By the way as far as i, I think its a problem of PM file can anybody give this kind of pm file...

i have 6600 restarting when we select camera or call logs also taking time auto restarting. what is trouble. i format and reflash againe same i think ram becouse after formating one picture on the memmory again before.
pls help

reball /replace ram ic is ok,for software it is good to flash same version , watch if u have done iu settings u get same problems!!!
