Codec Romania Answers

First we ve seen some good things about our product and some bad things as well.

We owe you some answers and sorry for that delay.

1. Mr. Tarana is complaining about not having his problem solved
He bought this software from one of our resellers and in our opinion he should have got support from those who had sold the boxes to him. That s the main reason for selling to resellers so that we should concern less about selling and more about improving the product. So Mr Tarana when you asked for reg key the first time we kindly asked you to talk to the company you had bought the program from. Afterwards there were some problems with the communication between you and the reseller who got the right codes from us the very same day. There was a mistake though, we are aware of that, with the codes that you first got from your reseller.

2. Mr Chris_ua - you cannot make custom ppm for all versions available, especially in 3310 and 3330 and if you know about nokia ppm/mcu changes in the latest versions (5.03 ex ) you should better why. So please use earlier versions ( 4.24, etc... ), test the custom ppm function and please reply with your results.

3. Mr daytona - please identify yourself because we dont have you in our data base of clients who have really bought directly from us. If you bought from somebody else please tell us where from and why were u asking help from us. If you really have bought from us, please tell us your name and we ll get back to you with an answer. Indeed we had some problems with codec@codecgroup.com and codec@xnet.ro but not at the same time and there was codec@codectelecom.com always available and published on every add/thread submitted. Our icq status was online or invisible 18 hrs a day and more than 1400 customers got help directly from us from november till now, maybe with a little delay sometimes and we are sorry for that.

It may be possible that some customers didn t always receive quick answers or any answers at all and we are sorry for that.

But please make the difference between buying directly from us or from one of our resellers. We never cheated anyone in our 4 years of being in this market and we tried to do our best in taking care of OUR customers. If you bought WinDDP from any other company/reseller please reffer your comments to them directly.

Thanks to our resellers such as: Cristian Dumitru, Sorin Stoian, Datacable London, Virgil e-groups, Raskal, Teleway, Ezz, Welly, Lexus Telecom London, Unidad Ltd London, EJ London, Genius Athens, and many others for keeping the product known.

Don t forget that WinDDP was the first program available for Windows in november last year and it wasn t perfect from the beginning but we tried to make it better every by any new release since other producers just had one or two releases and that was all. We took in consideration all bugs reported during that period and we think we had them solved 90 %.

I have traded with Codec for over two years now and can vouch for their integrity. I know Silviu personally and have spoken with Mihal many times on the phone and ICQ. I am the happy owner of many of their products (Including their first Windows MCU & PPM flasher.) I 've sold their products to my circle of friends in the business, and they are all quite happy. I wont say Codec is perfect, but I don't think they are a rip-off.
