Your computer must have a physical LPT port, and should be minimum a pII at 500Mhz. A free USB port is recommended for power (a Nokia* Charger may be used likewise). THE TWO POWER SUPPLIES MUST NOT BE USED AT THE SAME TIME (EITHER USB OR External)
