I agree, this is a cheaper and easier method.
But the rx sensitivity will be reduced.

I confirm that the rx sensitivity is lower than normal but it is not noticeable in areas with good reception.

There seem to be a rather interest in this topic, so it has been moved from "normal" nokia section and moved to hardware repair since it involves modification to the hardware on the phone.

i used 1nF signal is great never use jumper wire it will become intermittent signal in some places!!!

guys, i´m having several problems with these damn phones.
hardware mod. is ok, but i´ve tons of phones which ended up dead while trying to flash it with tornado.

before flashing i assure to unlock and master reset it all.
then i choose rh18 flash files and when i click on flash, many times the first erasing process stops, and i got ????????????? imei numb. that cant be fixed with rpl.... i dont know why, or what is going on, but its killing my pocket.......

do u think it may be connector?

mayb u should not use the erase function and just flash the phone with rh18 the latest version.
