there are several glue remover for it that is available..but the thing is its hazardous to health. you can manually remove it by being patient and with good steady hands.. make sure you mount your board on a steady base ( e.g. metal plate with clamp ) then put heat sink on other ic near to the ic to be removed... while applying heat on the glued ic, scalp the excess glue around the ic gently. it will soften when being heated until such a time that the remaining glue is only inside the ic. apply gentle force to remove the glued ic.. it may take several times until it will be remove.. apply liquid flux.. let it cool down for 1minute after every 2-3mins of hot air... after removing the glued ic, scalp the remaining glue while applying moderate heat.. i tried it on 6600, 1100, 2300, 6230, 6260 and 3230 with quite high success rate only at 1100 and 2300 did i experience setbacks....B.R. and Good Luck!
