Thumbs up Solution Of Reconnect Charger or Charge By Itself. For 3310

Solution for 3310 reconnect charger or charge by itself :

1 : In the first picture you see the via hole that in most cases cause this kind of fault. It's cut/disconnected and will therefore have a open line and have problems wth either charging or selfcharging.

2 : Mount a thin wire as in picture 2 through the via hole.

3 : Cut the wire on both sides of PCB.

4 : Solder the wire on both sides of the PCB to connecting lines.

Now you should have a working phone that charges correctly, or does not selfcharge.

@keany

Good work...

I've proof read the text and changed where nessesary. Furthermore I've added this post to the "Hardware Repair Series" as a sticky thread in the index here so these kind of faults and their solution can be easily found.

Regards

Simple trick to solve 3310 continuous charging

A broken pattern from R22o going to the vbb_main results in self charging. The quick way to solve this is by bridging it. The nearest part happens to be c200 going to vbb. The holes on the pcb-keypad serves the purpose........

just another option

on the phone PCB there is an interrupted way (somwhere on the right part of PCB - keybord side). It is a very very thin way, and it starts from + connector
