D500 always freezes/hangs up:Help needed - GSM-Forum

When i power on my D500,it just runs normally some few minutes and blocked.
I must remove battery to switch it off.

does anyone know how to fix this?

Try this:

Using Corrona Downloader you must:

get correct flash files and load them,
do crc button check, then connect phone,
once connected and booted, you must...
format both parts of flash - erase bin and format nand,
once done you must fully flash phone.

Once flashed you must enter the following codes in the phone without a sim card inside:

*2767*2878# and after that....
*2767*3855#.

Now you must rebuild NMV area (where imei is stored etc) for this use Swift Service's:

enter imei into program and hit "write imei"
once this procedure has completed you may use your phone and it should be just fine

thanks a lot for assistance.I did it the way you preconise(allal told me b4 to do it so).The point is the keypad is freezing so that i can´t put your codes in.Any solution?
The keypad is not fully working.

i do not find switch service too.i try with Winimei d500 but it is asking me a user ID and PW.
Let us hope that Speedymobile will help us get that service

Yes... use winIMEI D500... it can be found on the forum easily and doesn't require a password.
