D500 Flashing Help - GSM-Forum

I have a d500 serial cable for flashing(with 9v) on it. I have used this cable to unlock an older d500 using winimei and had no probs.

I have a newer d500 now from April 2005 on orange and am trying to unlock and flash it as i want to use it on o2 but when i power the phone on in winimei when asked it doesnt go into tat mode , it goes straight to insert sim screen. I have tried to get phone into tat mode using winimei 1.07 & 1.34 , samsung d500 flasher by nasiriyan and sgh d500 downloader v3.2 but all timeout as phone goes straight to insert sim screen.

I have tried changing com port settings but still nothing.

Can new d500 be flashed ?

Do i need different software to flash newer d500???

Cant seem to find any1 else with this same problem - any help appreciated....

S/W Version = D500 BVEB1_ED1 XAED1 Orange

H/W Version = MP 3.601 02:10:44 April 09 2005

Hi, I need the D500 O2 FLASH FILE, May you send it to blaiseid@yahoo.ca or post it here?

About Flashing the D500, use Corona v3.2,Set Braud to 43xxx and clip start,press power button, if phone switches on, switch it of and press on again.

I install the vertual drivers and I can flash the D500 in 24 minutes(BOTH FILES) using COM1

i only have serial cable (designed for flashing but doesnt seem to be working)as above and datacable used with easystudio 2 cannot get either to workin corona 3.2..

has any1 managed to flash newer version of this phone?

flash file i have is unbranded not 02...

i know the usb d500 is service cable..is faster than com port.

Can Twister Crack (activisation D500 Twister) Unlock D500?

yes it can unlock it click unlock it will say i cant do it via cable but i can generate keys it will generate a unlock code insert a locked sim enter the code the phone is now unlocked that is all you can do using the activation thing for d500
